Time flies and only now do I realise how long ago was my last entry. Those that have been following me on Facebook will know how busy my last few months have been but I can’t help to think that this is not an excuse. The good news is that I am now going to have more time allocated in my calendar to update my blog on a regular basis.
With this in mind, I thought I’d offer to my dedicated followers a monthly wallpaper that they can download and use on their desktops. And since I was in Geneva last week for a UN exhibition where some of my pictures were exposed, this month’s wallpaper shows the relaxing atmosphere of lake Geneva right in front of the city harbour. Just left-click on the image, wait until it finishes to download on your screen and then right-click to set it up as a desktop image/wallpaper.
Being at the UN in Geneva for the expo was fascinating. You can see some images of the event here. I was deeply humbled to be in the presence of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and amongst so many people dedicated in improving the human condition throughout the world. It felt like the experience of a life time and once again I would like to thank the people from the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) who have been incredibly helpful and supportive.
Another experience of a life time is coming shortly as in ten days time I will be flying to Africa for a one month trip that will take me through some of the remotest parts of South Sudan. Exciting stuff but more on this in my next post.
In the meantime, enjoy the wallpaper!
